Well, just damn. Didn't notice the search box.
Thanks for the tip, but 62 wasn't it. All I remember is that someone was making a beeping sound in the background while someone else talked very loud and distorted about the weather and Dann kept asking "Who's making that booping noise?" It was an awesome parody. Oh well, I'll figure it out sometime.

This moment was really the quintessence of what TLLTS does: Bringing some humanity to these folks that we might only know otherwise through their work and opinions on technology issues.

Ep 53 was Pat's first appearance in the studio, AFAIK.

The guys actually congratulated me on the birth of my son in episode 8.
One of my old band songs was played in episode 33. I sent a promo (with Dan farting) that was played in episode 50. I did my first segment in episode 53 and another segment in episode 58. I called into the show in episodes 63 & 64. My first official episode was the Marcel Gagne interview in episode 68. I knew the guys back in the early days of the LUG when I first moved into the area.

What always gets me is when a guest says were are breaking up or there is a problem with the asteriisk/skype, there is a pause, and without doing anything I say, "Is that better"; and they reply affirmative.

Haha, that's funny. Whenever something like that comes up, I always envision you hitting Allan with a whip as he furiously fiddles with the knobs live on the air. Ah, the joys of doing a live show.

Sweet! I finally found that episode with the hilarious Linux Show imitation. Go check out Episode 61 about 72 minutes in. I've never heard The Linux Show, but the imitation was still hilarious.
Sorry to revive this thread from the graveyard, but this is really funny stuff.

To really apreciate the spoof you have to go listen to the original. Seriously though, the current lineup of Linux themed shows/podcasts wouldn't be here if it wasn't for The Linux Show. They were the first! I truely hope they come back. It's been almost 2 years since they stopped production.

My favorite moment was when you guys were all drinking beer slushies because some neighbor of Dann's left a case on the back porch for him in the middle of fall/winter. It was one of the first eps I listened to, and it really drove home the point that you guys were for real, not just a bunch of robots doing a canned show. The other one that stands out in my mind was the one where Dann "showed up with half a load" after drinking with people from work, before starting the show. More or less the first seconds of the show consist of dan laughing his ass off and shouting DAAAAAAAAMN DOOOOOOOD!" into the mis. Not sure why these eps stand out for me, honestly.
