Interesting. HP doesn't like Vista either, and are exploring the possibility of building a mass-market operating system. HP's software would be based on Linux;

HP has been flirting with Linux for a long time. Supposedly they offer Debian support for their enterprise customers. It would be nice if they offered a Linux distro as an install option on their consumer products. That would show a major commitment on their part.

As you can see on the sites it's from 2006, so no it's not interesting, Red Hat still dominates the enterprise space!
